Importance of Gaya Shraddha
Gaya is spiritually recognized as the ultimate Pitru Tirtha (ancestral pilgrimage spot). Rites performed here grant liberation directly to ancestors, freeing them from lower realms.
The ceremony is considered complete only when performed across the three major holy sites: Falgu River, Vishnupad footprint, and Akshay Vat.
